Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream is a lighter, gel-like version of SKIN1004’s classic Centella Cream. Its calming and hydrating formula helps support the skin barrier, making the skin less prone to dryness and external stressors.

The cream contains ceramides and fatty acids, components naturally found in the skin’s outer layer, to reinforce moisture retention and maintain softness and elasticity.

Centella Asiatica extract is known for its soothing and moisturizing properties, helping to keep the skin balanced and healthy-looking. Additionally, beta-glucan and hyaluronic acid help lock in moisture, leaving the skin plump, soft, and hydrated.

Its lightweight, gel texture spreads easily and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin fresh and comfortable. The cream’s natural light brown hue comes from its botanical ingredients.

Fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free formula suitable for all skin types.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
