Kangasnaamio asetetaan kasvoille puhdistuksen ja kasvoveden jälkeen, seerumin sijaan, annetaan vaikuttaa 10-20 minuuttia, jonka jälkeen iholle jääneen nesteen voi taputella hellävaraisesti kasvoille poispesemättä. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
